Our first mixer of the year was a success! We had a great crowd turnout with many members and law students in attendance.
The event was held at BLU Martini and featured a raffle where all proceeds went directly to Cambodian Legal Education for Women! On behalf of the Queen’s Pre-Law Society, we would like to thank the following sponsors for generously donating prizes for our raffle: The Princeton Review, Barcadia, Cher-Mere Day Spa, Novel Idea, the VR Hut, the Toucan, Tango Nuevo, the Campus Bookstore at Queen’s University, and Common Ground Coffeeshop!
QPLS members spent the night speaking with law students from Queen’s Law who were able to provide them guidance for navigating their way to law school. Representatives from Queen’s University Certificate in Law were also in attendance to encourage students to partake in the Certificate program!
Our raffle raised $350 for CLEW which included a very generous donation from one of the founders of CLEW, Chuck Gastle.
Thank you to everyone who attended the Mixer and we hope to see you at the next event!
